Skywalkers: Anakin, Padme, Leia, and Luke (Luke and Leia are brother and sister, Padme is their mother)
Fetts: Jango and Boba
Jedi: Anakin, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Windu, Luke
Sith: Dooku, Grievous (Grievous has multiple arms and multiple lightsabers), Palpatine
Non-Humans: Chewbacca, Yoda, Jar Jar, Grievous, Jabba
Skywalkers: Anakin, Padme, Leia, and Luke (Luke and Leia are brother and sister, Padme is their mother)
Fetts: Jango and Boba
Jedi: Anakin, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Windu, Luke
Sith: Dooku, Grievous (Grievous has multiple arms and multiple lightsabers), Palpatine
Non-Humans: Chewbacca, Yoda, Jar Jar, Grievous, Jabba
- Anakin: Obi-Wan killed me, but he wasn’t my real family: families don’t kill each other. Also nobody in the same row kills each other, but that’s something unrelated.
- Obi-Wan killed Anakin
- Obi-Wan: I am the only Jedi to kill another Jedi, but the Sith in the column to my right killed a comrade.
- The only Sith in that column are Grievous and Palpatine
- Anakin killed Palpatine, so Grievous couldn’t have, therefore it must be the other way around
- Palpatine killed Grievous
- Palpatine: No non-human killed another non-human, and one of the Jedi to my left killed someone in their column.
- The Jedi to Palpatine’s left are Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin.
- Anakin killed Palpatine, and Obi-Wan killed Anakin, so Palpatine must be talking about Yoda
- Yoda can’t have killed Obi-Wan, because they are both Jedi, and can’t have killed Jar Jar because they are both non-human, so Yoda must have killed Leia
- Yoda killed Leia
- Yoda: In the middle two columns, nobody killed in the same column that one of their column-mates killed in, or in the bottom row.
- Jar Jar can’t have killed in the left-most column, or his column, so he must have killed someone in one of the other two columns. He can’t have killed Padme or Luke because they are in the bottom row, or Grievous or Jabba because they are non-human, or Boba or Windu because they are in his row. He must have killed Palpatine or Han.
- Anakin killed Palpatine, so Jar Jar killed Han.
- Leia, therefore, has to have killed Boba, because she can’t kill Padme or Luke (family and in the bottom row), Palpatine or Han (same row and already killed), Jabba or Windu (same column as a column-mate), and can’t kill Grievous because he already has a killer.
- Jar Jar: Everyone in my column was killed by someone to my general right.
- Leia: someone in my column was killed by my brother to avenge someone in my row (who the person in my column had killed), and he was killed by someone in his column.
- Luke killed Jar Jar.
- Luke: Both the Fett bounty hunters and Dooku killed humans, and one of them is the only person to be killed by the same person they killed. My mom killed a human, but not a Jedi.
- There are only three non-humans without killers: Chewbacca, Yoda, and Jabba
- Yoda can’t have been killed by Jango or Dooku, because Jar Jar’s clue states that he must have been killed by someone to his right
- Boba killed Yoda
- Boba: Han didn’t kill Luke.
- Leia states that someone in Luke’s column killed him, so it must have been Jabba, Windu, or Han. Windu can’t have killed Luke because they’re both Jedi, and Han can’t have killed Luke. Therefore, Jabba killed Luke.
- So Jabba was not the reciprocal killer, therefore Chewbacca must have killed whoever killed him.
- Let’s go back to Luke’s clue: My mom killed a human, but not a Jedi.
- Padme is in the middle two columns, so she can’t have killed anyone in the bottom row, or in any column her column-mates killed in. She had to have killed someone in the leftmost or rightmost column.
- We already know who killed Han, Windu is a Jedi, and Dooku is in her row. Therefore, Padme must have killed either Chewbacca or Jango. Chewbacca has to have been killed by either Jango or Dooku, and is not human, so Padme must have killed Jango.
- Obi-Wan is the only person left without a killer in the left-middle column, so his killer has to have been Grievous, Windu, or Han. Windu can’t kill him because they’re both Jedi, so it must be either Grievous or Han. Grievous has to have killed someone the rightmost column.
- Han killed Obi-Wan.
- Han: He was killed by a Sith.
- Grievous must have killed Windu.
- Dooku killed Chewbacca.
- Jango killed Jabba.
